Firstly thanks for your comments and taking cognizance of our work...
We really appreciate your intimacy towards Maratha history. But at the same time as you would also agree that trekking is not only about history and forts. It has many more aspects ranging from adventure to nature conservation. The onset of these projects (viz: - birds, butterfly, flower) on this is an step forward in encompassing these aspects in TreKshitiZ.com. Since we are expecting inputs for this projects from people working in diverse areas around the country we have not labeled them with Local or Ethnic.
Till this moment we agree with you that the links without much data in it look childish. But we assure that after one year when these projects will have sufficient data in it these projects would add to the hallmark features of this website...

| I have been visiting this site for quite a while and it has become one of my favorites, as it goes a long way in satisfying a passion of wandering through "Gad-Kille", from a distance. But of late, some changes - especially the classification on the homepage - Bird, Butterfly, Flower, etc. are very childish and unbecoming of such a wonderful site. Please change the classification to Local Birds, Ethnic Wildlife, etc. I would like to see some information about Shivaji Maharaj, some audios of Powade, Shivarayanchi geete, Shivstuti by Sant Ramdas, etc. on this site. Kudos on an excellent site and hope to see these changes.

Hi,
recently while browsing the net came across tis wonderful site with lot of details for the trek lovers, also the conservation project for sudhagadh needs a special mention , what put me off that the schedule updated on the site is of Aug-06,which i think needs attention,so that interested people can be a part of this wonderful initiative. other wise the site is wonderful one stop resource for the information.

Nice Site..to good information . Properly arragned....but all the forts are from nearby pune and mumbai.
There are lot of forts and places near kolhapur for tekking. Please add those places also. I can provide you information if you need. Hope to see the Information of places near by kolhapur.
