Really Nice & Needed Information Available in Marathi.
Its Excellent site ,It gives us lot of information about our Maharashtraian culture and forts......
You are doing a great job on giving information about trekking spots. The most helpful is the St timetable and fort-maps. Keep up the good work.

Your site is really good. It gives a lot information to trekkers in Sahyadri. You can add the information of the trek route which can be done in 3 to 4 days. Eg. from Kalsubai to Kille Harishchandragad, from Kille Panhala to Kille Vishalgad, from Kille Singhgad to Kille Torana- Kille Rajgad, from Naneghat to Kille Chavand or Kille Shivneri, for the trekers like us who do treks of 6 to 7 days & most of it by foot.

There is a mistake in the photo captioned fort torna from velhe village.
The fort in the photo is not Torna at all.
It is Rajgad seen from the end of Sanjeevani machi on Rajgad Torna route.
I am Damn sure about it though u can verify it.

Hi Vimoh...

TreKshitiZ team thanks you for pointing out the correction.

I have rectified the error. You can see that the photo is now no longer displayed under Torna.

Wish to see you in the hills of Sahyadri !!

Hi Economical trekker...

Glad to see your feedback and also your care for your money.

TreKshitiZ is an NGO and it duly attempts to organise the treks with minimum overhead charges. There is always an effort made that more people can get close to nature and trek these wonderful forts.

Peb from Neral by walk is certainly a 40 - 60 Rs trek. But if we plan to do it from Matheran side we also have to consider the price of per person transport from Neral to Matheran. And that is the route planned for this trek.

I don’t say the estimates for the treks are always right. But incase if the estimates were made too high as you consider, trek leaders have always returned the surplus to the participants.

That was it dear… I hope this calms you down…

See ya in the hills of Sahyadri
